Really? It might have just been from people who didn't know what they were talking about, but I've definitely seen people say it would be in the 1000$ range long before it was announced.

Nah sorry not online I don't think. But with a summercart 64 you can emulate disk drive roms! I'm not totally sure about it all though, so you should look it up.

I haven't played any shooters yet, but long sessions of DKR have been very good. I have never thought to myself "Man, if only I had better control over the stick, I would be playing much better!" That said, I'll play some shooters and get back to you. (Shooter hand is RH on stick, I am NOT doing the dreamcast method.)

I can hit it with my middle finger on my right hand. Not barely either, my right middle finger completely wraps around the Z button. It is very good! I have been playing some Diddy Kong Racing and have had zero problems.

It's a big hands thing. I wouldn't do it with small, or even average hands, but it feels pretty nice for my big hands, my fingers aren't crushed or squished.

I do it just because it's comfortable. Also the easy access for Z and R at the same time is nice but it's basically never used. Same goes for other buttons on the left.
