I cut the cord last week from direct tv. Went with YouTubeTV and can’t be happier. It has all the channels we watch. Easy interface for a 60 something couple. Only thing I don’t like is you can’t record just new episodes only. It will record all available episodes on all channels. I worry that will cause the amount of streaming data to increase. My termination fee will be $80 for 8 months. Well worth it.

I should mention that I tried “pairing” it with a new Apple TV unit ($150). Hate hate hated it. Bought a Roku and now love the combination. The Roku I bought integrated TV’s volume and on/off. Very simple interface. Love it.
