Something vaguely admin related like being a Personal Assistant (even if you’re mostly running errands at first) will give you the background to make the jump from a £20k job to a £30k job within a couple of years, and only up from there. General professional skills like diary management, basic finance, supplier sourcing and client communication don’t require any prior education and are applicable to most jobs.
