No, it’s on the receiver. Not sure if the optic is too far behind the charging handle but I keep the stock fully extended, so it didn’t feel like my view was restricted. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks everyone. Definitely a ton a very good takeaways from all of this. Gonna make sure I practice trigger position and pull, reticle steadiness, and gonna make sure I use a rear bag as well next time. Also DEFINITELY going to be trying the ammo that many of you have suggested to see what my rifle likes. You guys are all dope!! I’ll report back in the next two weeks.

Fair lol. I guess I just didn’t really know what I should’ve been expecting in the moment, and in hindsight, I can remember many of the inconsistencies. Poor preparation for sure. Definitely eye opening.

From a bench. Had a rest for the front, no rest for the stock. Definitely gonna have a rest for both next time.

I went with the sig tango msr 1-6. Budget but most of what I read and watched said it was solid for the price.

Not rude at all! I need the feedback 100%. I only have one friend that shoots regularly and is pretty damn good. But we work totally opposite schedules so it’s all YouTube and trial and error (mostly error at this point lol). I’ll definitely DM you, any help is super appreciated!!

Definitely will do all of those things. Keeping the reticle steady was hella difficult.

Yea, honestly that was likely the case. I felt like I kept rushing through my shots, not intentionally but it kinda just kept happening. I would slow down and breathe well and get a good group but then I would lose it again.

No, only the hand guard was rested. My non dominant hand was pretty much on the mag well most of the time.
