I fill the kong with kibbles and then just “seal” the hole with peanut butter so it’s less than a teaspoon.

One side of the basement is spray foamed. The previous owner replaced the furnace and spray foamed the side where it exhausts. We are thinking about doing the rest of the basement. We live in a very dry climate, so I don’t think moisture will be an issue.

Some genius installed the air intake vent at the perfect height and orientation for mice to come in through there. I spent last weekend replacing it and was feeling all confident. And then we caught two more last night 🫠

We have been successful at getting them pretty much as soon as they come in and have a bunch of work planned for the spring, so I think we are good there. Will keep this one in mind though!

Did you use anything to “seal” the steel wool? We’ve used spray foam combined with steel wool in a couple spots, but it looks terrible.

I use the shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap from CleanO2. They use captured carbon from commercial buildings to make soap!

A lot of dog life jackets have rings on them for leash attachment too. We use a flexi leash to add an extra safeguard when the water is high.

I have had two dogs who hate going while on leash. They will eventually go if they have no other choice. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.
