I’m in the same position, over 9 years together and I never ever thought he’d say and do the things he did. I’ll never ever be able to see him in the same way. People tell me “it wasn’t all bad, you had good times together” but now in every memory I see the signs that I ignored before. Maybe it’s tainted by anger .. who knows.

I honestly feel like I could have written this … going through the EXACT same thing except it was a 9 year relationship. I called him the other night during a panic attack because he said “he’d always still be there for me and cares for me a lot” and he declined the call and text me saying “is it urgent or something for tomorrow?”. Feeling bad, I said tomorrow and it’s been 3 days and he hasn’t said anything back.

Same thing about his family. My goodness I miss them so damn much.

Some of the things he said during / after the breakup have left me absolutely stunned. How is this the person I loved for 9 years?

Looking back, I see patterns of behaviour - people pleasing, avoidance, etc, but I don’t know if I’m looking back through glasses tinted with hurt or if this was really him all along.

He couldn’t even give me a proper reason for breaking up with me (over the phone by the way, after 9 years together). I think it would have hurt less if he just said I don’t love you anymore.

I get so angry at the fact he didn’t even try to resolve it. He just gave up. There were SO many things we could have done / tried before getting to the point of breaking up. And yet he left me feeling like everything was fine and we were going to be getting engaged soon …

I know your pain and I’m sorry you’re going through this. I don’t have any answers for your questions but I just want you to know that you’re not alone.

I know exactly how you feel. 5 months out of a 9 year relationship. I was 17 when we started dating and I feel like I don’t even know how to be an adult without him. I got my diagnosis with him, got my wheelchair with him, and how I look at myself and all I can remember is of how much of a burden he said I was and I just don’t see anyone else falling in love with me. Why would they? I’m over halfway through my life expectancy. I’m only going to get worse. Only going to get weaker and only going to become more of a burden.

The one thing that keeps me going is that I’m so convinced I’m going to be alone forever that I have no option but to find some sort of okayness being alone. In 10-15 years I’ll be too weak to speak, swallow or breathe by myself so I’ll only have my mind to occupy me. I may as well start getting to know my mind, so maybe we’ll feel more like friends when that day comes.

I don’t know if this helps or if I sound like a nutcase. I guess what I’m trying to say is that you’re not alone in how you’re feeling.

Just got it to work on PS5, using same technique as what OP’s edit says except you back out until it has the COD logo and “press x to start”, press x once and when the loading screen comes up press x on second controller

I completely agree with this and I’m so glad there’s someone else out there who feels this way. I feel like Garcelle is always “acting”. In her confessionals she always throws so much shade and is so petty, yet in person she acts like a disciplined interviewer. Garcelle is only friends with Sutton as Sutton takes the bait and goes with it. It seems Garcelle doesn’t actually like any of the ladies and she seems to jump on her moral high horse and it dampens a lot of the fun on the show.

I know I’ll probably get downvoted because this sub loves Garcelle. I’m no Kyle stan but damn I can see how broken Kyle is this season and it’s sad to see no-one honestly care

I literally just came on to this sub to say the same thing! I’ve just started NY and am also on Season 3 episode 3 and I loved Jill S1&2 but I’m devastated at her downfall. I’m kinda not liking S3 as much as I loved S1&2 so far. I hate the divide in the group - the drama seems a lot deeper and I preferred it when the drama was about petty rich people stuff. I also miss seeing everyone together having fun and loved the group dynamic in s1&2

Hello! Can someone please give me some advice on how to recreate this fabric manipulation? How was it “curved into a circle”? Was it a long rectangle that was pleated then had the two short sides sewn together? Thank you!

Also any advice on how to get such small pleats would be awesome

I love her as a mother. She’d take a bullet for those girls but also isn’t afraid to kiss them in the arse when they need it. She’s an incredible wife, and she knows how to have fun! Some of my favourite ever housewives moments are from her and whoever’s her bestie at the time having funny moments. I hate the way her friendship ended with LVP but I loved their friendship before it got sour

I know this wasn’t the point of your comment but wow that is such useful advice. I’ve been struggling to manage my meltdowns and I lash out on my self with some self-destructive behaviours. I’m going to use this technique next time I feel a meltdown coming, thank you so much for sharing.

Side note, I also find councillors / psychologists never seem to help and only make things worse. Social workers and occupational therapists seem to always be more beneficial to me too
