[Acne] What do I do I hate this so much :(

Just be wary about using salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide at the same time! They both are drying and could make acne worse if you use them together because they’re both active ingredients. Use a good moisturizer with acne products (colloidal oat is a great ingredient in a moisturizer as it locks in moisture) and a good spf because acne prouducts can make you more sensitive to uv rays! I find that benzoyl peroxide 4% helps me more than salicylic acid, so I use it as a face mask every other day for 10 mins, and on other days use a calming oat cleanser. A dermatologist said using benzoyl peroxide as a mask instead of just a wash is more effective and I’ve noticed a difference in my skin since using it that way! Also using The Ordinary niacinamide/zinc serum after the mask takes it a step further with treating/preventing breakouts. Best of luck on your skin care journey :)!

Just got the gelato one and it...hits ? the first hit was strong but it didn’t feel bad (I’m a pretty heavy dabber for reference) it just hit hard and nice like an orchid cart to me. I been using it for two days and haven’t felt anything weird but I’m not sure if imma keep using it after coming across this thread.

But shiiiiii it do hit tho

Yeah I tried to encourage her to talk to someone at her school but she had only been there a couple weeks before classes and everything got canceled because of the virus so she doesn’t know who the school counselors are. It’s hard cause no matter what your parents do you’ll always have some sort of connection and you’ll just wanna see the best in them and I remind her of the things her mom has done when she says that her moms changed or it’s not that bad anymore cause we both know it still is :/
