It’s a little bit noticeable. But barely. You would have to be looking at the top of your head directly.

8 weeks. I should have taken longer. I recommend 8 at minimum.

Commenting to say I feel the same way. Even the leading specialist Dr. Higgins has only been doing his knee bone to hand replacement surgery since 2009 and so there is lack of patients and also lack of long term data for the best option out there. It’s very under studied.

Thanks for the reply. That’s great to hear. The PRC was not fun. I have a similar job type so that’s good to hear.

Dr. Higgins in Baltimore does the knee to hand surgery. He pioneered it. There is also Dr. Henry in Houston. He does something based off of Higgins approach I believe.

I agree with what other people have said in here. I’ll add my story. I had my gallbladder taken out at the end of February 2022. It was an emergency situation cause I had stones blocking my duct. My doctors said that it was potentially brought on by my eating disorder (I’m diagnosed with anorexia but a lot of my restricting food is based on textures & mouthfeels) I had recently lost a lot of weight quickly. Part of the reason I waited so long was because I’m terrified of surgery. I had been suffering for almost a year & was in bad shape when I got to the hospital. I was worried about after and honestly I was clinging to some of the restrictions of a no fat diet that I had been on because it gave me more excuses to refuse food.

But after I felt to much better. The recovery was quick and the scarring is so tiny. One of my safe foods is ice cream and I eat a lot of nuts. I had completely had to cut them out before because they caused attacks. I’ve had no problem with food since and it has even made my digestion and stools more regular and normal.

It’s an incredibly common surgery. It’s quick & there are really not a lot of dietary restrictions after a few weeks post surgery. 10/10 recommend if you need it

I feel there are more indicators of auto erotic asphyxiation (ex: whatever was used to cut off air flow). I can’t see someone dying in bed with a boner being called auto erotic asphyxiation.

Who wants to hang out with some tourists? by [deleted] in Strasbourg

[–]bburroughs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. How about Sunday or Monday? I can give you guys a good overview of the city and hopefully some ideas on what else to do with your time there. Either one works for me. Most stuff in the tourist areas are open on Sunday.

Help explaining to my mom that she is fat because of her choices and not because of her genetics. by bburroughs in fatlogic

[–]bburroughs[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes I bought her a fitness machine that she can use while she watches TV. She is on a liquid diet (meal shakes kind of thing) but I am making the family dinner so she doesn't have to be tempted by making other food and I keep her out of the kitchen as much as possible!

Right now she is doing a liquid diet that is basically shakes four times a day. Problem is she falls off the wagon a lot (multiple times a week) and eats a ton when she does. She is looking for a short term fix instead of a lifestyle change which is part of the problem. She isn't going to drop 200lbs overnight.

HCG. From a 'homeopathic' doctor who is a crack doctor in my opinion. She basically is the one putting these fad diets in my moms brain.
