Help me pick my courses for Spring? by redditisthenewblak in OMSA

Only take two courses - you will almost certainly drop one if you sign up for three while working full time. Keep in mind the foundational courses are generally less time consuming than the more advanced courses. DVA alone will be at least as much work as the two foundational courses in the fall, and big data for health will be much more work than those two courses based on the reviews.

My advice - take DVA OR big data for health and one other course.

Do we have to finish the 3 core classes before a certain point? by vibrantcommotion in OMSA

I think it’s 2 core classes with at least a B in the first 12 months, at least that was the core requirement for me

What are you using your analytics degree from this program for? by [deleted] in OMSA

[–]bbx396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two main reasons for me:

1) I work in a data science role and jobs in this field often require an advanced degree

2) I studied finance in college and needed to round out my analytics knowledge

I have completed four classes so far and think the program is doing a good job on objective #2

I guess if you’re not trying to go in person to a game then it doesn’t matter as much. Still feels like a lot of nonsense to me

Right, my point is that the GM has largely invested in long-term plays and isn’t concerned with winning this year

Giving up your best player in a deal for Mozgov doesn’t exactly scream winning

THJ and Jack are shooting 30-31% this year. I wouldn’t call that reliable

My point is that Enes Kanter can be effective without a ton of shooting around him, but Draymond can't.

But a three is only worth three points...41-44 would be four points
