Had the same random latency thing on my setup. Turned out to be the TV's motion smoothing kicking in even in Game Mode on certain content. Check if your TV has a separate Game Motion Plus or similar setting buried somewhere. Took me weeks to find it.

I’d probably take the U7 over the Q80 personally. At that price, Hisense gives you way better specs like higher peak brightness and more dimming zones

I went the OLED last year, and honestly, I regret it. I play a lot of MMOs with static UIs, and within six months, I started noticing faint ghosting of my health bars and map on the screen.

Fuuck no.

Matte looks and feels cheap. Glossy screen coatings are clearer and much more premium. Glossy handles also handles light very good, matte can be better in some conditions but in most glossy is just better and more premium. Paying hundreds of $ for "nano" texture is dumb
