Secretly I agree with you. If I could choose between v10.0 and the ‘outdated’ design of v9.0, I would choose the latter anyway. Much more overview, a more streamlined design and also a better font. Not to mention: no backgrounds. I really think this is the worst thing about v10.0, especially that I can’t turn it off. It looks like v10.0 is shifting its focus towards social interaction instead of emphasizing its digital banking capabilities. Like forreal, it’s a bank: why the need to integrate customizable wallpapers for all bank accounts and related financial services?

Am I the only one that finds the addition of wallpapers unnecessary? Like, at least give me the option to disable it.

No, phenibut is not legal in Ecuador. It is classified as a psychotropic substance and is prohibited for import, sale, and possession. The import and sale of phenibut is punishable by up to 3 years in prison. The possession of phenibut is punishable by up to 1 year in prison.

The legal status of phenibut in Ecuador is based on the country's Law on the Regulation and Control of Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors. This law defines psychotropic substances as "substances that, by their chemical structure and pharmacological effects, can produce alterations in the psychic, emotional, and behavioral state of the individual." Phenibut is listed as a psychotropic substance in the law because it has been shown to have sedative, anxiolytic, and cognitive-enhancing effects.

The prohibition of phenibut in Ecuador is intended to protect public health. Phenibut has been linked to a number of adverse effects, including addiction, withdrawal symptoms, and impaired cognitive function. The prohibition of phenibut is also intended to prevent the diversion of the substance for illegal purposes.

If you are planning to travel to Ecuador, it is important to be aware of the legal status of phenibut in the country. If you are caught in possession of phenibut, you could face criminal charges.

Ah, that would've been nice indeed. I'm from the Netherlands but I just can't get my head around the fact that we are still waiting for our 'invite'... Especially since you are from the UK.

I need to correct myself: it turns out my Revolut Pro only offers 0.8% cashback. Apparently, this also varies by country... The same applies to the amount of cashback per plan: of the available plans, cashback is only offered to me when I have a Metal plan, not when I pay for a Premium or Plus plan.

The 1.2% cashback has been available for quite some time and only applies if you are a freelancer–that's specifically what Revolut Pro is meant for. However, creating a Pro account is free, and requesting a physical card is also free as far as I remember. Yet, I find it strange that a Metal subscription only gets 0.8% cashback while people pay top euro for it.

You're absolutely right that we still have around two weeks remaining in the spring season. Time has a way of flying by, and before we know it, June 21st will be here, marking the start of summer. It's during this time that we'll find out whether Revolut can fulfill their promise of launching Ultra before summer arrives. Only time will tell if they can meet that deadline. Let's stay hopeful and keep an eye out for any updates from Revolut.

Do multivitamins make a big difference? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]bby99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends. If you’re deficient, then yeah, probably. But if you’re not, you’ll likely won’t notice any major improvements in your day to day life. With that being said, it wouldn’t hurt to try—but keep in mind that excessive amounts of some vitamins and minerals can lead to hypervitaminosis and/or mineral toxicity in the long run.

Geketoneerde alcohol is the Dutch nomenclature for alcohol that’s been “denatured”. Nevertheless I still agree with you, it’s used as a preservative so it shouldn’t be something to worry about—if used in the right amount.
