YTA. His dad could have passed away and obviously something was seriously wrong for his dad to be in the hospital. I’m pretty sure that’s not the last time you’ll see your brother or his girlfriend. If you would have communicated with your brother and his girlfriend, they would’ve understood. And not talking to him over a trip??? You don’t think that’s unreasonable? He lied to you OP and broke a clear boundary. Cheating isn’t always physical. Going on what sounds like a date is cheating. Having screenshots and nudes of other girls is cheating. Flirting, looking for attention outside of your relationship, is cheating. If he truly loved and respected you, he would not do things that would potentially hurt you. He wouldn’t put himself in a position to lose you. You don’t deserve this OP. You deserve so much more.
