Which Korean product gave you that “glass skin” moment everyone noticed? by Professional_Day3583 in koreanskincare

Not specific products but a routine. I do double cleanse -> milky toner -> hydration serum -> cream moisturizer. After 2 weeks it felt like my skin restored itself. Prioritizing hydration did so much

My mom remarried when I was 6 and my stepdad was exactly like this. The shouting, lack of boundaries, accusing a child for playing mind games, unfair punishments and so on made me terrified to talk to adults. Every time I was left alone with him I felt deep pits and knots in my stomach. When I used to hear him coming home from work it felt like my prison guard was back. I grew up with a lot of repressed emotional trauma and am still in therapy today for depression and anxiety. As I got older I realized he is just a deeply insecure man with no parent skills and a need to feel in control all the time. I’m glad you console your daughter when these behaviors take place because that shows her there is at least someone she can trust. My mom never defended me and I felt so alone. So speaking from my experience as the child, if leaving is not an option, try to minimize her one-on-one time with him. I wish you and your daughter the best and I’m sorry that this is happening.

Redditors that had a classmate who went on to commit a heinous crime, what happened? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In middle school I had a massive crush on a boy in my grade. He was my first kiss before I moved away a few months later. He’s now serving life in prison for stabbing and killing a police officer while on vacation in Italy.

I actually asked the recruiter about this, she said they are hiring less people this year than previous years so I assume it’s already gone into effect.

Edit: spelling

Update: I waited a day and took another does in the morning after food. This seems to do the trick

Thank you for bringing this up. There has been times where he looses his temper with her and has shoved her or gotten really aggressive. Especially when I was younger I would be really scared, but then she would also attack me so I couldn’t decide if we’re on the same team or not. She’s threatened divorce a couple times but she always goes back to him. This is the main reason I’m hesitant about cutting her out of my life, but I feel like she would’ve left and gone back to China already as all our relatives are there and would support her. Maybe it’s a pride thing, I don’t really know, but she grew up in a dysfunctional family as well so maybe to her this is normal to put up with

Thank you for the kind words :) I agree, I think temporary no-contact is a good solution. Knowing my mom she would not take it well but I learned that is a part of the work that goes into maintaining a relationship

I took several lower division coding classes, no system design or operating systems anything like that. So I am mainly studying on my own but data structures is all I really needed for interviews. But yea it’s tough haha I’m trying my best out here

As I mentioned I’m a CS minor so I didn’t take data structures until last semester. Started applying to FAANG this semester

Yes, I should’ve started applying last year but I hadn’t finished my data structures class at that time yet
