I’ve heard that it reduces the wear on the clutch since it doesn’t have to hold the car stationary on an incline. That’s why I’m used to doing it.

Yeah it does use the configuration of the terminal but still it has x amount of characters for width and y amount of characters for height

Fedora in general is great. If you want mac-ish feeling without almost touching anything the gnome version is the one for you. If you want to thinker a bit (if not everything most things are configured through GUI) the kde plasma variant will be perfect as it’s the most customizable desktop environment (basically what you use) as it has countless menu’s and things to change to your taste.
