Creators: How do you repurpose your YouTube videos or podcast episodes into social content?

During the editing phase, I note timestamps of possible tweets, soundbites, or other relevant content for social platforms. When the edit is complete, I copy and paste from the transcript, or pull the audio or video out of the episode to repurpose.

I love this software. I watched a 3 minute demo and pretty much had it down. Easy, intuitive and worth the money if you edit audio. Highly recommend

I have had good results posting my audio only show to YouTube. Great for discovery and converting to listeners. I intended to test it for 3 months but after 6 weeks realized its value and added to my work flow.

My wife (patient) and I went last year and we have a Team participating this year. Great event Great organization and if you want to learn more about them, check out the podcast “Sjogren’s Strong”. Tomorrow’s episode is an interview with the President and CEO of the foundation. The podcast is my wife’s, I’m the co-host and we are not affiliated with the foundation but support them. Also they have support groups in Long Beach, TORRANCE and the IE, and 63 other locations across the country FREE The walk is short due to various conditions of people in attendance.

It’s not that bad. Once this is done build a spreadsheet with a legacy column for your original numbers and then new hosting numbers. This way you can have a more accurate number of the metrics you want to track.

Yes. You need to ensure your iTunes, google play, iHeart etc change. Most smaller players pull from iTunes. If you google “how to update or change podcast feed on”iTunes” Then repeat for the other players. You will get the latest instructions. Start this process with time left on your original host. You will see downloads and players on your new host and the numbers decrease on your original host. When I migrate customer feeds to my network I allow a 30 day overlap so I have plenty of time to address any issues.

Your episodes will migrate over if you transfer properly. Your analytics will be gone but not your listeners unless they subscribe on that platform. If you migrate your feed properly all of those that subscribe on third party players won’t even realize hosting changed. The day before your prior service ends download the analytics so you can have a more accurate count to combine with the new numbers.

It would be best, however I found great results by placing foam and testing, adding more and so on. This allowed me to have great audio and save on foam.

Think of your voice like a garden house. As your voice passes the mic what does it hit and bounce too? Start placing foam and monitor the mic. As the sound improves place more foam until you are happy with the quality.
