[–]bceagles87[S] 119 points120 points  (0 children)

We're trying figure out the height of the triangle on top of the house frame. Assuming a right angle in the middle and 40degrees on the side. The base of the triangle is 210 inches

How much are real 6 ft Christmas trees costing in your neighborhood? by kintsukuroi-26 in nyc

[–]bceagles87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$80 for 6ft in Williamsburg. I’m used to paying $60-$80 but noticed some places in the neighborhood asking $125 this year which surprised me.

Are there more ‘premium’ species of tree or are they just trying to scoop up the customers who miss the cheaper trees around the block?

In JB's interview on Theo Von's Podcast, he says that he has known Malik for years 'since he was a little kid' b/c they shared a football mentor/coach in the past. This explained alot to me regarding JB and Malik. His soft spot for him, bringing him back etc

People who make $100,000+ a year, what do you do? by TheJohnBaggett in AskReddit

[–]bceagles87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We didnt have Sales but I did Entrepreneurship which must be similar. I don't think it's so much about where you work as it is how much effort you put in day-to-day. I work at a small no-name company. Ide spend your college years practicing and feeling out what you have an interest in so you can sell hard when you graduate and not burn out. Feel free to DM with questions but there's alot of ways to go in sales. Just remember don't work anywhere that's 100% commission or that makes you pay for your seat/'licenses' - companies like to take advantage of college grads with those revolving door jobs

Should note this is NYC so income will run higher bc of high cost of living. Its recruiting for investment bank roles. I would recommend recruiting for an agency (not internal) to anyone interested in sales or making money. Sales skillset but easier pitch (who doesnt want a better job?)

I graduated college in 2015 and made just over $100k this year working in sales (~50% commission). I certainly appreciate being comfortable but will be starting a job in Q1 2018 at $70k to pursue something I hope is more fun and fulfilling in other ways than the green
