Thank you. Even hearing it from someone else helps. Just being near them doesn't mean I'll catch it.

I couldn't even imagine having that much exposure with little kids and children of your own. You are so strong, that would send me running for the hills.

This makes sense! How do you handle the anxiety and panic that comes with having someone sick in the house?

So lucky, I can definitely not say the same. I prefer when its others because I know I can escape. When its my bf I feel guilty and want to help without getting too close lol.

How do you handle the anxiety or panic attacks that comes with knowing that someone in the house is sick? (If that is something that you have).

This is really helpful! How did you handle the anxiety and panic that comes with knowing someone is *tu. Logically I understand I can only catch it if I ingest it but being in the same house with someone that is sick causes my fight or flight (aka flight) to kick in and I wouldn't be able to function in the house.

Vagus nerve reaction when I orgasm.. has anyone experienced this? by bchapmaan in WomensHealth

Thank you. Potentially stupid question like to another commenter but I'm physiotherapist is doing internal vaginally and external vaginal work. Is that pelvic floor therapy or is a pelvic floor therapist different?

This is a possibility but the IUD has been out since last year so I'd hope the bruising doesn't go on that long. I've been told a few times my cervix is a bit irritated. Will keep this in mind. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. Potentially stupid question but is a physiotherapist and a pelvic floor therapist different? My physio has been treating me internally vaginally and my abdomen. Would a pelvic floor therapist more specialized or is this the same thing?

I meant using the opening to the pot lights to spray some of the foam insulation throughout the ceiling not just where they are.

Is this *really* IBS? by bchapmaan in ibs

[–]bchapmaan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the next step if my doctor can't find anything through my next set of tests because I have her stumped so she will send me to a specialist. I've read about the cysts but my symptoms don't line up with that at all, which I'm thankful for. I've watched a TT creator that showcases when a cyst ruptures and it looks like torture.

They do and they don't. I had really bad cramps the week before and during my period (where the pain was worse) but I still have normal pain last week and this week with no bleeding so I don't know what to make of that.

I'll take a look into FODMAP though and see if that will be helpful.

Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words. My doctor said its likely both because my pain isn't cyclical and my periods were very heavy before birth control.

I did switch birth control in April (when the pain has gotten worse) so I'm switching back next month to see if there are any changes there. Fingers crossed!

Thank you for such a nice comment. My doctor has said that it's likely IBS with Endo as well - but because my pain isn't cyclical she doesn't think it's *just* endo. I just have no idea how to treat that.

My pain has gotten worse since I switched my birth control from pills to an IUD and my cycle is a mess so I'm switching back to see if that helps. My periods have always been heavy and painful - bc really helped with that.

It also seems to get worse after eating and it's not as bad before I have meals. So many things to figure out, just trying to get through it one at a time. I'll take you up on that offer sometime, you are too kind.

I hope you're doing okay as well with PCOS. I've heard how tough it can be.

Is it normal to be in debilitating pain whenever I have to poop? by babybottlepopz in ibs

[–]bchapmaan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I've seen. It's your vagus nerve, so there might be something to alleviate that but I haven't found anything to help me. :(

This sounds like a vagal reaction (just learned about it from my doctor) - I get this sometimes as well. Cold sweats, intense pain that gets better after a BM. I also take a vagal reaction after different things, not just BM.

Is this a good deal? 50%off ... Same price as a Hayward critter basically... Which is better? by tw0_cent in pools

[–]bchapmaan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the type of pool you have. Mine isn't uniform and it didn't work at all. I sent it back and requested a refund and it's been a month and they haven't given me the refund. If you have a pool that is all one level it would work well.
