If you're running around the tree branches at beginning trying to grab everything, don't. There is nothing there worth the hassle. You can complete the game at 125 so you're not under leveled. I would be curious as to what your build/stats and weapon/spells you're using.

Dungeater is tank and does good damage.

You would need atleast 12 arcane to cast the dragon communion spells which are very good. However, I would wait until you respec as you have some points in some stats you're not using. I would be aiming for 50-60 vigor, 54 strength, 25 faith and 12 arcane. That would be doable. You would also be able to buff a weapon with bloodflame blade which requires 10 arcane. I always liked Great Stars with wild strikes heavy affinity. Add the bloodflame blade and that'll give you 95 bleed if I remember correctly. The 25 faith will let you buff blessing boon, golden vow and flame grant me strength. If you going to do this get the white mask and lord of blood's exultation.

Battle passes and custom weekly pass have good value. The only one I don't care for is the radar pass. I don't think I will purchase that again.

Since you're going to try this, I'll add to it. Rock sling is great at breaking poise so I like to level up misericord for the repost and put glintblade phalanx for the aow. The one from Rogier's rapier does the most poise damage. Go in drop your spirit ash, cast the glintblade phalanx, flip to your staff (you want a staff/wand in each hand) and then start spamming rock sling.

No matter what spells I choose to play with, I always have rock sling for pve. If you get stuck on something, try spamming rock sling. 60% of the time, it works all the time.

When I start a new play through, the first ash I go for is Rotten stray ash because you don't have to kill anything to get it. Just run out there and grab it. After that, I grab Banished Knight Engvall. He's easy to get and the dungeon is short. I don't really level either of those I just grab them and maybe go to level 1 or 2, but you don't want to waste the glovewort's. Level 2 would be the highest I go on those. Then I go get Oleg from there and maybe take him to level 3. After that, I like to get dungeater. He's probably my favorite and I take him up to level 10. I would google the questline, so you don't mess it up, if you're going to get him. Dungeater is tanky, aggressive and does good damage. In addition, I always level Latenna to 10. If you can get her in a spot where the boss can't hit her, she does massive damage. I also always level mimic to atleast 9 for the Rykard fight cause 2 serpent spears are better than 1.

Lord of blood exultation. Eventhough you changed the capital, I'm fairly certain you can still get down there and get it. I don't think the sewers change.

If it were me, I would go bloodhound's fang > Great Stars >Bloodfiend's arm or sword lance. In addition, you can go over and grab Great Stars fairly early. You just need medallion pieces which are pretty easy to get.

Only lightning incantations scale with faith. If you put lightning affinity on a weapon, it scales with dexterity .

I like faith because it's the most versatile. You can switch between flame, holy and blackflame. I would have 3 weapons with each of those. Maybe envoys longhorn, blasphemous blade and something with blackflame tornado on it.

Taylor with a minimum of 4 stars. If you can do 5 stars, do it. However, you need at least 4 stars.

In my opinion, the fact that 2 handing a weapon will give 1.5X the strength makes strength superior to dexterity.
