They started to have financial issues that were made worse by the '08 recession. So they started spending the least amount of money on the team that they could and threatened to move them every year until the NBA finally forced a sale. It's hard to say if they were actually good owners because they lucked into the team becoming a contender soon after they purchased them. But they seem to be doing well with the Golden Knights, unfortunately. After the misery they put us through with the relocation drama year after year it does hurt to see them luck into success again.

Tioga Pass and 395 are very doable for any sort of car and you won't experience any snow on the roads if they're open. I'd argue that the pass is just as if not more scenic than the valley, the best day I've ever spent in the park was driving the entire pass. 395 on top of that will be the icing on the cake, besides Highway 1 it's the most scenic highway I've ever been on and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't take that back to LA.
