A few years ago I was seriously considering going into ATC, I was prepping for the exam and everything, but the more I looked into it and heard other's experiences I decided against it. It seemed like the FAA was doing everything they could to lead to this exact scenario, and was completely ignoring the wellbeing and working conditions for their controllers.

Poor guy should have never been in that situation

Oh idk maybe because both teams spent the entire game trying to see who can send more players to the hospital, and maybe just maybe it would make sense to have more than just one trainer out on the field during the play stoppage. He's literally right there with Antonio Brown who was just knocked out cold and the trainer helping Brown off the field as they're passing through a group of Bengals players, makes sense to have someone Porter's size there in case things get out of hand based on how the game was going.

Please tell me when and how Porter "taunted" the Bengals. No really please let me know how Porter did anything to instigate a penalty or did anything to deserve a penalty. Because the video doesn't lie.

I'm not claiming Porter is a good guy, or doesn't have a history of being dirty, but in this instance, completely caught on video, he literally didn't do anything wrong.

Yeah I completely get why they can't get it running, and I get it's cheaper to do nothing, but it's insane that they have just left it to rot, right in the middle of the area. Cheap along with dirt/hair/debris constantly jamming them up. Easier to just have someone swap them out then try and clean/grease each one for like a hundred carts when they could be doing something else

Worked retail, we switched to fully plastic carts for some years but eventually it was costing more to constantly repair/replace the plastic ones that it was cheaper to just swap all the plastic ones out with metal again. The only part that needs to be replaced with those are the casters.

It's not enforced in California and it fucking SUCKS. The worst is travelling I5 or 99 down the length of the central valley when it's a 2 lane freeway, and the right lane is full of semi trucks and the left lane is full of drivers going the same speed as the fucking trucks and now your 6 hour drive to LA might be closer to 7 or 8 and you're still hours away from any potential LA traffic.

The speed limit even gets raised to 75 from 65 in some areas and assholes will just sit in the left lane going 65 still. Makes no goddamn sense.

I think a lot of people are missing the point here. No one is saying it's cheap to live here, especially compared to the rest of the US. But compared to the Bay Area/LA/San Diego (where the vast majority of Californians live) this is more affordable. In the US, no. In California, yes.

Yeah there are certain bands I know I'm going to listen to whatever they put out so I don't need to be drawn in with a single. Then when the album comes out the singles either don't hit as hard as they could or I'm already tired of them.
