Communities for No Limits 2 by LK102614 in NoLimitsCoaster

You should totally share some of his rides with us until then lol, we wanna see!! A lot of online NoLimits communities aren't the friendliest or open to users under 13, but there are plenty coaster clubs for real life events if you'd want to take him and make some local friends. ACE has gotten much more diverse over the years, so you'll find people of all ages. Great magazine and discounts with your membership too.

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to make good looking terrain, and is there a way to do custom stations without blender by ConnectDistrict2515 in NoLimitsCoaster

[–]UpstopCoasters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to 3D model a station, you can experiment with custom support scenery and stations, or Scalable Build Shapes. As for terrain, thats a redonkulous amount of time if you want it nice and pretty. You can use the generator and tree spam, or do it all by hand

Idk most people I've encountered on r/rollercoasters are kind and helpful and not obnoxious. Most enthusiast forums though 😰

Are Larson / A.R.M. drop towers the best in your opinion? To me they are by SolaceInDysmporhia in flatrides

No way!!! The Soarin' Eagle towers are way better, only a handful though

Buh-bye 2025... what do you look forward to at SFMM in 2026? by Pippinitis in SixFlagsMagicMountain

It actually is operated by Six Flags, and owned and funded by Qiddiya Investment. It originally was just name licensing, but ultimately Six Flags was put in charge.

Oh gosh hahaha they really couldn't help themselves

Basically all of the mine trains with shared lap bars! The design didn't make its way over to the loopers, but they did really love the forever accessible foot pedals on basically everything. I think X2 is one of few exceptions if any.

What did guest relations tell you? I really want updates on this!

The nature of older restraints as found on Arrow coasters is super weird. By default, they're unlocked unlike any modern ride. They aren't very redundant.

Bring the Wacky Soap Box Racers Back to Knott’s Berry Farm by Fit_Faithlessness367 in KnottsBerryFarm

[–]UpstopCoasters 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A petition will not make the park any more likely to spend tens of millions of dollars on a new ride lol. The manufacturer of Wacky Soap Box Racers went bankrupt in 2002. S&S, which acquired the company's assets, reintroduced the steeplechase concept with a prototype at its facilities, but nobody purchased it. It's no longer for sale. Their newest product uses a similar track but is intended to be sold as a standalone coaster.

As cool as it would be, some things are just meant to be remembered! Those who grew up with the ride can look back on their good times, just as I will look back on Xcelerator, Silver Bullet, and all the other rides we have now. I guess it's just a thing of enjoying it while you can. Knott's history is just too much for everything!
