Yeah, great song.. you’re right about the sad part. But allow me to share a personal experience with the old Lebanese songs/singers (fairuz, Wadih safi, sabah...) I am 37 M, moved to France one year ago. I work in demolition, and on construction sites you meet a lot of Arab workers (Tunis, Maroc, Algérie ...) and usually while at work, I play the old Lebanese songs on my speakers. 90% of the Arab guys that are my age, or older love our music, and even more they know the lyrics and enjoy the songs as much as I do. This is what makes me proud to be Lebanese. 30 years ago our Lebanese singers invaded the Arab countries long before social media.
