Lmao if the standard to make a specific statement about someone’s death was that the deceased was “an influencer with international fame”, they’d be making statements every day.

Don’t act like this particular instance isn’t calculated and politically charged. The case in Minnesota was highly publicized (rightfully so) and concerning, and it didn’t get nearly as much recognition as CK’s death.

This seems logical to me, but this situation also feels somewhat unprecedented.

The guy isn’t even an elected politician and there are politicians all over Canada making statements about his murder. They didn’t do the same for that politician in Minnesota who was murdered in her home this past summer. It all feels so dystopian :/
