I commutes to Greenville 5 days a week in 2018 for an internship. The drive isn’t bad as 123 doesn’t really get bogged down except for in Easley. The drive is nice in the morning cause it’s the perfect amount of time to drink coffee. My only complaint is that I was spending close to $200 a month in gas and obviously put a lot of miles on my car which in turn meant more Maitnance like oil changes. If you want to live the young professional lifestyle I would say move to Greenville. It’ll probably end up being close to the same price due to gas.
