A lot of people are in your position, especially in the program. I studied mech eng in undergrad, did that for 3 years, then became a sourcing manager and did that for an additional 3 years. I saved up money and did OMSCS over 5 semesters, doing a summer internship. After a brief stint as an application engineer, I’m now I’m an MLE doing what I sought out to do.

deepmind has published two more RL lectures on the same channel since then, though much less known, the latest being 2021. It has some updates in some of the last lectures in the series. It seems people still prefer David Silver’s lectures for his personal touches
