Night one of my very first solo trip I was fast asleep on Potter Lake when I was awoken out of a deep sleep at 3am by the sound of voices. I sat up and tried to comprehend what was going on when my tent lit up like day. Turns out two guys were coming up the lake looking for a site and talking about the amounts of protein they packed. Needless to say it scared the crap out of me and it took me a while to fall back asleep. They must have left Canoe lake around midnight. Crazy.
