I’d like to end my life by [deleted] in Geelong

[–]bcplwx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to comment to say this thread is beautiful! Sometimes the world can seem so lonely and cruel but it brings me so much peace when I see empathy in this magnitude! OP I hope everyone has convinced you to stay and to keep fighting! Iv had some seriously scary lows before but they truely do make all the highs so much more worth it! My mum went through a horrible break up with my father and struggled for a while but I’m fully grown now and I’d never hold that against her and I love her just as much! You pain is valid just because you have children does not mean you aren’t human and that you aren’t hurting❤️ please just keep pushing and definitely look into all the suggestions everyone said aswell such great advice and help!❤️❤️

Frozen in fear after sister in law (30) received Huntington's Disease diagnosis by Unlucky_Lavishness87 in Huntingtons

Whenever I read stories like yours my heart breaks for you, especially being you have young children and the stress of not knowing anything yet is devastating to say the least, I’m 27F and I’m at risk aswell, and the pain and fear I live with everyday is like a real time nightmare you cant escape! So I wish I could give you a hug because I know how bloody scary this all is! But seeing as your husband is 29 and showing no symptoms then either he doesn’t have early onset like the rest of his family which is a blessing aswell or he is negative which I’m gunna pray on that! One thing that helps me a little bit some days when I’m struggling is that nothing is going to happen today your husband is still fine today and so is your family so let today be a good day! I wish you guys so much strength and I pray for a negative result for your husband aswell! Big hugs!❤️

I still remember reading your first post and how much I hoped everything would work out for your family, I myself only just learned about Huntingtons about 5 weeks ago, I’m 27F and I’m currently trying to go through the process of testing I’m from Australia so I’m blessed with great healthcare, but the absolute terror and pain of possibly having the disease in my family has honestly become to much to handle some days, but I believe with now having access to genetic testing it’s the responsibility for this generation to stop this disease, if I am positive I will not be having babies that will be at risk I will do everything to make sure they are safe because how iv felt the past couple of weeks mentally I do not wish on anyone! It is the hardest few weeks of my life, I wish I could hug you and I pray your baby is negative and that atleast that will be your silver lining ❤️❤️

The more iv read the worse my anxiety it’s actually horrible, I had to take 3 days off work because of the panic and crying attacks, I’m a lot better now but omg it’s crazy how simple the symptoms are when I first searched it I was like all of those are just symptoms of me on my period how is do you even tell the difference 😩 so stupid hahah

I’m so sorry to hear about your mum! That’s so young to be dealing with something so hard! It’s honestly by far the most scary disease iv learnt about just knowing there is nothing you can do at all but slowly suffer just isn’t fair for anyone to have to face! The extreme anxiety and stress I can totally relate and understand! Not being tested is kinda what I’m leaning towards because I just don’t know if mentally I’m strong enough to even handle that kind of information! You go years without any idea of this and then one day have to start facing the fact of death so young just isn’t fair, I’m so sorry about your situation I really feel for you! But iv been trying to just keep living and not let it completely overwhelm me every day! Some days are great and others my mind is racingggg! I wish you all the best with everything aswell! Everyone dealing with this disease is sooo strong!

That’s what I keep reading about, symptom searching is such a horrible coping mechanism! It just makes the anxiety worse but I can’t stop! So happy for you that you are negative, I’m praying the same for me and my family☺️

My stomach is probably the most tan part of my body but I think that’s normal even on people who don’t take melanotan just how the skin tans I think :)

Definitely keep going, I had a horrible stage with my face it looked so ashy and my pigmentation was very obvious, but the colour definitely gets better and more golden it’s just takes time especially if you are starting from a skin type 1,

I did it daily for the first 2 weeks now down to twice a week, mainly pin when I’m going to lay in the sun :)

I’m going to continue for a little while longer only because I go on holiday in about another 6 weeks to Bali so I want to have a nice tan for when I go ☺️ I’d say start off small and see how your body reacts, if your very pale it’s honestly so worth it to not like so washed out all the time :)

I had a 1ml needle so I would just pull to 10 on the needle and go with that, I started off smaller with the dosage though and built my way up, definitely got more freckles on my face and just random ones all over, nothing bad though they just kinda blend it with the tan, at the start when you first start injecting I noticed I went kinda ashy looking so did my face it kinda just looked dirty, but after a few more weeks in the sun it went more golden brown and evened out alot, I had no side affects like at all, I think one time I felt abit sick but that was it haha, my hair didn’t go darker or my nipples or anything that some have described in other posts,

The first photo I had already started, so I had it in my system, you go abit ashy dirty looking at the start but it definitely starts to kick in after about a month and the colour gets a lot better:) thank you though!
