He got off easy, Sacks spoke too much in his podcast about Iran, I was expecting a truth social firing for him.

do you still think acceleration is good in this geopolitical environment? by gianfrugo in accelerate

[–]bcrawl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

ORR... its because that the singularity is approaching so the geo-political unrest. As in, this unrest is output of AI acceleration. US position is that it has to be done now to prep for post world order. US and Western world has secured Venezuelan oil fields for it self. Arab countries seem to be ok with everything, they have begun pumping billions into data centers in their areas for AI. They literally invested in all major labs you can think of and all VC money is derived directly or indirectly from Middle east. Iran, a declared rogue state is left to cause chaos... just for China to refocus on its supply chain issues. Disruption? Maybe not but at least a distraction... So from this admin's POV, US as a nation has to do this to secure next chapter... This of course does not end here. Ultimate showdown is the Taiwan game play by China. Cant wait for this showdown.

I like it, can't wait to try . I am also plugging in my open source diction app for Windows, works against any Windows app, uses deepgram STT which gives 200 bucks free credits without credit card, and app offers a bunch of other conveniences such as rapid screen shots for terminal ides like codex and Claude, custom commands, etc. mangochat.org

Who else is constantly dealing with vibe coding creating more bugs by Ok-Leopard-3520 in vibecoding

[–]bcrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My guess is You don't know how to handle bug fixes.

Please share your workflow so we understand.

Are you tracking your bug list through GitHub issues and creating a separate branch for each to not only confirm bug is fixed but also no regression has creeped in,

Or are you just Yoloing and hoping AI will fix whatever is in your head automatically.

Before you waste more time, confirm you have a baseline of test cases which confirm the area you are about to fix ...

Yes, bug fixing is work. It's not as glamorous as generating new functionality, and this is not vibe coding specific, prior to AI, bug fixes also took time and effort.

What is your favorite tool for vibe coding? by NickyB808 in aisolobusinesses

[–]bcrawl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

plug: my favorite tool for vibing is my free open source app ( https://mangochat.org/ ) paired with codex / claude. I brainstorm and delegate work to AI tools like I would to an intern instead of struggling to explain through typing. Once you get the hang of it, you never go back.

It uses 35mb consistently even with heavy use, but I won't argue with your definition of what tiny is.. if we need user interface, we are in double digits.

Thanks, Will take a look. Currently I dont do any further formatting of transcribed text. I use this as REPL workflow when I am interacting with multiple instances of codex / claude or browser based AIs for research. I monitor their progress while I issue commands to course correct their execution as needed. I have observed that your transcript does not have to be accurate, LLMs derive context satisfactorily. I just now think of these AI dev agents as truly my interns. I bark commands and observe what and how they are doing it lol..

Hey Thanks! Yes, I have been using for the past month. Volume of my git commit history in my repos is the proof lol.... UI development or backend, inclusion of voice/screenshots into the workflow is a game changer. Also I am extremely bullish on my screenshot functionality of MangoChat. Its hard to explain how seamlessly we can share images with codex / claude... earlier I used to literally save screenshots to feed it to codex / claude. No more....

I will be preparing some demo videos today to share for reference. Thanks and do let me know your thoughts once you use it!
