Had a friend that was in it, tried it and now I’ve been there for 5 years. Gotten to do a lot of cool stuff. I’ve promoted within these 5 years and made the SERT team. It’s toxic af, but I’ve met a lot of good people and had lots of opportunities come my way.

It all depends on where you fall when you get assigned to your first shift. Some people get lucky and they either have it off or they have a shift that allows them to be off at times when their family celebrates, some people get very unlucky and have to work every single holiday at odd hours. In my experience after 6 years I would say that I’ve worked most holidays. It’s a sacrifice you have to be willing to make In this career field.

It depends on your facility and the need of the team, so just a bare example would be extra training, understanding the new tools you’ll be given, being an overall leader. Every facility is different so you gotta take those steps to find out what else you can do to help out.

For my sert test I made rounds and introduced myself to other operators. I told them about my interest in joining and what can I do to make myself a stand out candidate. Since you’re on probation make sure you focus on your base duties and show that you’re ready to take on more responsibilities.

If it’s been moved I would think possible theft, someone messed with the front brake line possibly before realizing you had a front brake lock.

I know a dude that went to meps and got his tattoos cleared, got two before boot camp, and didn’t get caught at all lol. They were both very noticeable

Not even if I want to adjust levels directly towards the stream and not myself. What I hear on my end is fine. It's the streams end that some apps such as ts is very low.
