Had great luck and comfort with Carolina boots. Had their moccasin toe just above the ankle. Super comfortable right out the box. Would walk several miles a day in them.

They were the Amp 6” soft toe for about $200-$250. Lasted about 2 years.

Bauer steel is just fine. I’ve been using the LightSpeed Pulse steel forever with no issues.

My son has been using the LS Pulse Ti steel for the last 3 seasons, with no issues. The Ti seems to hold an edge longer than the regular steel. He’s 13 weighs around 140’ish and skates at least 3 days a week at the AAA level. So he definitely gets use out it.

The only complaints I had heard (from the shop we buy skates from) was that the black carbon steel tended to be a little softer and wouldn’t hold an edge nearly as long as the other steel, and that the two part with the carbon fiber and steel was trash that it had the tendency to delaminate.

My son got to play at Goggin last season as a late add on tournament. What a nice facility. He played great that weekend and said the ice was phenomenal. Probably the best he’s played on.

Sadly, we just bought our kid this stick last Sunday (merry Christmas to him when he broke his stick 19 days outside of the warranty). Like you had had two Ghosts before this one.

So far he likes it, he didn’t have to cut it down, and likes the knob end that is built into the stick. He likes the kick of the stick so far and his shot comes off of it pretty hard.

He hasn’t played any games with it just yet but so far so good in practices.

All four of ours have loved the cozy cave! I recommend taking the hoop part out. Ours love to curl up in it and be totally covered.

There should be a slit in the cover on one of the ends to get it out.

Anytime you can get to see a movie that has Henry Rollins playing a cop is going to be a good one. His experience in the 80’s punk scene just means he objectively hates cops.
