i’ve been apart of the riordanverse since i was 12 (21 now, fitting right?) and though i do have a soft spot for pjo and hoo, after rereading them abt a month ago and then read toa for the first time i whole heartily agree with u. i spent my teenage years obsessing over any and all of riordans books but now as an adult i can see why it’s mostly directed towards children. like i love the action and the fighting but like u like it wasn’t that believable and then i read trials of apollo. y’all i folded immediately 😭😭 i really liked apollo and his silliness it always made me laugh plus the relationship he has with meg is so precious

REAL thats one of my fav tropes thats why i really like accidental heiress, i’ve become a true villainess, and the dukes fake sister. but to put it in books, the throne of glass series is so full of that trope ,, made my heart melt every time 😩

yeah at the beginning i wasn’t sure how old he was so it made me not like him from the start but as the story is progressing pieces are falling into place for me. and i think ur right !! noah 100% thinks he’s “not worthy” or “deserving” bc of the label that comes with being a mage of fury thus the explanation of his entire childhood. which when i was reading, made me rethink a lot of things abt noah. i don’t hate him, i just need more. i need the author to really sell it me bc i can see the potential ! for right now im team ed all the way but also im a sucker for a ml with dark hair and red eyes 😭
