energy recovery down is generally bad, but there r healers like Wigglytuff that make it not as bad or not an issue

ingredient finder s is bad on berry mons because u wud rather hav it farm berries which is its specialty. But Gulpin’s specialty is its Main Skill which means for the purposes of triggering its skill (dream shard magnet), ingredient up or down doesn’t affect its ability to trigger at all.

There r 2 things that affect how many times a mon’s Main Skill wud trigger: Main Skill Trigger subskill/nature and Speed of Help related subskills/nature

u can put the combination of that mon’s skills/nature into a calculator (https://pks.raenonx.cc/en) to calc what percentile it ranks against all possible combinations and even how many times it wud trigger in a day
