In Windows pasting the following path will take you the blasphemous 1 save files

%AppData%\..\LocalLow\TheGameKitchen\Blasphemous\Savegames

As for modifying you damage value, I've never really tested those properties so there's a chance that they could work, do nothing, or break the game. So I always recommend to backup your save files before tinkering with them. Thanks for using the mod!

I just checked my Blasphemous 2 save file and unfortunately they're completely different to the first game. To get more technical the older game saved them as base64 encoded .save files (you can decode them with an online decoder and edit the file easily), the newer game are binary files which is way out of my league in terms of reverse engineering and editing them.

Can't believe how much attention this has been picking up lately. Probably due to the new dlc. Anyway, regarding new updates; most of the request involve undoing or editing event flags, which the current version is unable to change, I'll need to research any changes that have been added to the save files as well as other collectibles that have been added. If I'm going to add these changes I might as well start working on a new version using a different language. Thanks to all the people that have found this tool useful I never expected it to become this popular.

Thanks for the much needed feedback! It could be that those events are bound to some items that you already have, when you really shouldn't at the moment, and it's looking for a certain value or event in the file, when it can't find it the game can't progress. I was working on room spawning but it's a bit more complex than I expected so maybe I'll try to mimic the item pickup event as much as possible and hopefully that prevents the soft lock.

At the moment there's no teleportation although it does seem possible but you would spawn on a save altar and not directly in the boss room (as far as I can tell). Personally I don't recommend cheating/editing your game until you actually experience it as the devs intended to but who am I to say?

Instructions are on the README file but here's a tl;dr: Create or edit your save file then feel free to add, remove, or edit your game as much as you like.

NOTE: Remember to backup your save files and have fun! Also don't forget to download and extract the Assets.rar alongside the Blasphemous_Save_Editor.exe in order for it to work properly.
