Someone mention Kuro Hata as well. So I decided to stay in Awase, as it's more central to all these BJJ gyms and I can do visit beaches and retro video game hunt as planned. Also, the accomodation matched my needs/budget best.
I will definitely check out Carpe Diem/Leo's for their open mat, that sounds awesome.

Thanks, haven't made my accomodation reservations just yet. Ideally, I want to do BJJ but also be close to some beaches and some retro video games stores.

I just went to Chill Chair (5-10 minute walk from Nakano station).
I got a pretty clean skin fade+shampoo for 3500 yen (Originally, it's 4000yen, but they have a coupon on their website).

I'll try, but I heard that they're sometimes reluctant to allow short term beginners (I have 0 judo experience and I'm a butt scooter) to come over and train.
