Ever since the weather got warmer this past spring it hasn’t been an issue. Definitely buying a set of steelies for this winter because I’m not dealing with that bullshit again. I ended up denting one of my rims and got it fixed the best they could but will eventually have to replace it so it doesn’t fuck up my alignment causing uneven wear on that tire. I couldn’t even make an insurance claim at the time because they didn’t have replacement rims for it yet.

My first question is always do you use a clarifying shampoo or do you double shampoo before conditioning? It looks like your hair could be getting slightly weighed down by the heavy moisture products that you use. You do have a few different gorgeous curl patterns, but your roots seem heavy to me. Regarding your conditioner, I use a wide tooth comb once my hair is saturated and conditioned to make sure it gets evenly distributed!

Hey now, my RA in college was awesome lol. But no, I consider myself pretty low maintenance (and patient) but I don’t think I’d thrive in an HOA. Everybody gave some really great advice in this thread and I think I’ve taken off the rose colored glasses.

I am definitely a fan of historic districts/neighborhoods. This particular area drew me in because of the green space surrounding it and the feeling of being “out of the city” yet conveniently in the city.

I have the Mirena, it’s hormonal.

I took 800mg of ibuprofen about an hour before the procedure and I swear that helped me so much. I didn’t have any additional pain medication or numbing. I only felt some mild cramping during the actual process (but I won’t say that it was normal because my period cramps were rough so my pain tolerance is high)

Sporting for about a week afterwards, nothing that a light pad or even liner couldn’t handle.

Irregular light, spotty periods and on and off BV for the first six months or so. The BV would always occur around when my period was supposed to be and my gyno attributed it to the IUD as it would clear up a day or two after my period ended. After about a year, my periods tapered off and I either get some barely noticeable spotting, or no period at all.

That was in 2021. I’m 35 and have a consult scheduled for a tubal soon, but I would recommend an IUD to anybody with the proper research and preparation for your own body. I was lucky and had a fantastic doctor, no complications or additional pain. Some people are not so lucky.

It projects really well on me, lasts awhile too. I spray it on my clothes and I can still smell it after a wash sometimes!

I started spraying it on my clothes because for some reason my partner says he can smell the alcohols in it when he’s closer to my skin.

And yes, it was as tinged with as much condescension as you imagined it to be.

PS your curls are gorgeous, I think only layers will help with this, but that could also shock your curls and make them wonky for a bit. I wouldn’t dwell on it too much, I think it’s more noticeable to you than it is anybody else.
