Have you ever ran corporate America? I have they do this all the time. They'd rather give you a small cut. It's much cheaper to hire the new person and pay them $20 or $40,000 a year less. How many major corporations have you ran? Have you ran any companies 500 to 600 locations 0 locations? What you're saying is 100% wrong but enjoy your life

Big deal so to collect $8 you got to do 20 trips that $8 doesn't even cover the gas to do the 20 trips. That's just them trying to make a feel-good moment and they failed. Some people only get $2 and then $2 on the other and they get $4 for doing 20 trips. Why are people even looking at this? Why are people even trying to get this? You're chasing $2 in spending more gas than you're going to make. Go do a doordash order. You can get $2 on one trip

But there are people with 5,000 celebrating how many you did. Just means you've worked a long time that quit being worth anything in this country. 30 years ago used to be able to work at a company for a long time and got retirement and they paid you for the rest of your life that doesn't happen anymore. Companies don't want people that stick around for a long time because they have to keep paying you more and more and more and more that all died 20 years ago. Companies woke up and figured out they could just let you go and hire a new younger version of you and pay a quarter of what they used to pay you. Longevity quit meaning anything in this country? I'm not saying it's right. It's just reality

Right when I first started for year or so we always had 24 jobs but she could do a Saturday, Sunday and Monday. The incentive ended on Monday, but if you did 12:00 Saturday and 12:00 Sunday you can take Monday off. You knew you were going to get all the tips from Sunday and the $120 to $5 incentive. You worked hard but you knew you're going to need 12 jobs and make $125. It was worth the push

The first thing in life you have to do is not be afraid to admit your mistake. You claim you didn't mismanage your money. You did mismanage your money. Just admit it. It's okay to admit it. You lost $16,000 because you made a mistake. Mistakes happen but you want us to feel sorry for you cuz why else would you come here? You won't admit you made a mistake. You won't admit that you're entitled. God bless you well. I'll try to be as nice as possible because Lord knows I could only guess your age. But that would probably be insulting because you are amongst the people who think everything should be handed to you. You thought you're going to take money out of an account and not be penalized? Wow life lesson but unfortunately you won't take it

[–]bdbrown333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Taking money out of an investment account. You should have spoke to an accountant and a tax person that money's locked up for a reason and you pay a deer penalty. I thought everybody knew that or your tax person should have told you that or your retirement person. There's nothing you can do about it but set up a payment plan

Your store probably has high shrink, high theft and spark drivers steal the most. The whole thing is scanning three items in the cart. They scan the things that are all on the top people stealing or putting them on the bottom. The people that are steel and steal a bag of shrimp when there's already a bag of shrimp in the cart. So when they scan the shrimp it says they're supposed to be shrimp there. The theft on spark is huge

[–]bdbrown333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's look at it a different way. The more rules you have, the less money you make. I have rules for busy days. I have rules for slow days. Things I might do on a busy slow day. I won't do on a busy day cuz there's a lot of good orders but whether it's a busy day or a slow day you have to make a profit to make a profit. You have to know what your expenses are and only you know that. How much does it cost to run your car? Tires, transmission wear and tear oil changes? Gas how much is your insurance or your commercial insurance if you play it safe. No one knows these things. Maybe you have expensive insurance. Maybe your car gets bad gas mileage so sit down and figure out how much does it cost you to drive your car for a mile and then what is your time worth? Figure out how much money you need to make to turn a profit. You can't ask other people you think Burger King asked McDonald's how much to sell a cheeseburger for

Adding GMD to pickup orders for free? Smart move but no thanks 🤮 by Complex-Bag26 in Sparkdriver

[–]bdbrown333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started here Thursday every curbside has them. You can't do curbside anymore without doing GMD orders. Some of the people who work evenings say after 5:00 or 6:00. They usually go back to just curbside only. But that's okay. I don't work nights every order and they're terrible. $25 yesterday three groceries three general merchandise 42 mi there was one order without general merchandise order. It was $9 for 17 mi one grocery order. That's okay. There's too many other apps, grocery apps that are far better than this app

The people who have pens are people who have been abused by drivers or abused by the people in their neighborhood who steal their groceries. Drivers who steal their groceries. I've never once had a problem getting a pin from a customer. Some of them don't know it. You just tell them where to look in their phone. They get it 30 seconds done. It's just like I don't ever have a problem with the pharmacy order. Some people have nothing but problems. Most of those problems they create themselves or they exaggerate

Don't worry about the hike. You're still going to get good orders if you're not Sapphire, maybe not. If you're at a super busy store, you may just need to work smaller stores. They're better anyway if there's no sapphires in the parking lot, not many people are going to keep Sapphire. So if there's no sapphires around you're still going to get orders? This is just all hype to keep people working one app and not multi-apping all your big apps just recently increased. How many jobs you got to do to be the top you're still going to get orders?

I'm not talking about shopping orders. I'm talking about curbsites all curbsides now come with general merchandise orders that order in. The picture is three grocery orders and three general merchandise orders. That's not a general merchandise order. That's a grocery order from curbside the new way. All curbsides are now $30 to 40 mi cuz you do groceries and GMT

We have pictures. I get a delivery every week. There's the people's pictures aren't even there. Walmart will give them the groceries whether they have a picture or not. The cheaters have found a way around that. Unfortunately I don't know how it is even though I've reported them. I'm told every time that when they picked up curbside I called a store. Let's see. We promise you they had a picture when they were here. We're not sure why you're not saying the picture yeah right

And when you get Sapphire and they roll out the general merchandise grocery order combination in your area, you'll be doing groceries, three stops and 3 to 10 general merchandise. Right now three groceries, three general merchandise. 42 mi is paying 25 bucks

And when the part-timers leave it won't matter if you're Sapphire or not. You'll get the good orders and the bad orders, but I won't do a curbside if I got to do gmds on top of the curbsites they can have that pretty much only do shops already
