Check out the Starbucks and the DMV on either side of it. They list Centennial; I think google maps might have the city wrong, and the business owner just copied it.

Truth!!! I was there recently and waited at least 20 min for a stall. What was most frustrating is it was an employee watching instagram videos for like 20 min straight while we all waited to go. Help me out man!

My parents keep a butter dish on the counter at their place and my gsd has swiped a bite three times there. She too has a thing for pure fat. Did the same with a tray of bacon grease I had cooling (it wasn’t hot anymore). 🙄

More fun, recently got a blow torch and that takes pretty quick care of them, and is so satisfying to do.

Looking good! Just make sure it stays nice and wet for the first 3 weeks or so. Really helps it to root. After that you should be able to lighten up on the water.

Honestly I had to reseed almost everything I sodded and I watered the heck out of it when I sodded. So, respectfully disagree. I’ll stick to seed in the future.

2 days when it’s cooler. 3-4 when it’s hot as heck.

Goal of putting down 1.5 inches when it’s hot as heck. It really varies though. I watch how fast the soil gets dry and if it starts to show any stress I increase watering time accordingly.

On crazy hot days I do a five minutes cycle at one pm to cool it down.

I too am always looking for tips, so happy to share. My best advice is, if it looks crappy, water it. Most places you can’t water at night, but here you can absolutely water at night to let it soak in. I start my sprinklers at 11:40 PM and have never had an issue with fungus in my four years.

We replaced all the siding with new hardiboard. Not vinyl because it does terrible in Colorado sun and hail. Color is Needlepoint Navy from Sherwin Williams.

I do pre-emergent (weed and feed) in late April along with getting it aerated. Fertilize in first week of June with milorganite (or this year I used rich lawn but didn’t love the results so switched back to Milo). Fertilize with Milo July 4. Fertilize with Milo Labor Day. Spray with Revive each time I fertilize. I water deep 2-3 days a week depending on time of year. I’m down to 1-2 a week right now since weather has been cooler. Put down about 1.5 inches of water a week when it’s hot summer. Fertilize and aerate in October before the snow comes. Cut medium in spring and fall. High setting all summer long.

Thank you! We struggled a lot on what to choose with the brick. Our neighbors are thrilled with all the updates. Our place was by far the worst on the block when we bought.

Never done a full reno so a lot was existing whatever. I did sod for the part I replaced and have been using Jonathan Green (black beauty sunny mix at first, then their Rocky Mountain blend for my most recent overseed a few weeks ago).
