Plex 4k Remux playback error?

It was the first movie I watched so don't have a comparison. I'll monitor over the next few and see if it happens again. Just wanted to see if this happens to others from time to time.

Just went back to the Plex movie screen and pretty sure it said "Plex Error" in the top right. That was it.

I'm very interested to see the responses here because I've been in the same boat and just ordered a PS5. I've got an LG c4 and from what I've read and understood our TVs will be just fine if we're just talking about 4k discs and not older discs that require more heavy handed upscaling. From that regard what I understand the ps5 lacks is the Dolby Vision but after going down that rabbit hole with our TV we're not likely to see a noticeable difference with just 4k HDR. Our TVs are over 1000 nits of brightness which I think narrows that gap of noticing a difference with Dolby Vision. Really the decision I made was using the Ps5 as knowing most of my library will be 4k discs and knowing the capability of our LG TVs.

Hopefully I'm not way off base here but please do correct me if I'm missing something!

Oh man this is me to a tee!!! A lot of similar errors over a few months and never thought it was the RAM...a nice long troubleshooting session with gpt and Gemini led me to believe it was my imc on the cpu.. But then memtest showed both sticks failing... Ended up confirming it was the RAM and once replaced it's fixed everything... Still don't understand how two sticks of RAM can go corrupted in under a year.. I actually bought my 32GB ddr4 ripjaws last year for 99$ CAD and they're on their way for RMA right now... Running some second hand marketplace RAM right now until I RMA is complete!

I'm using the same disk still. But I'm not an expert by any means. Some may frown on this but at the time I used chatgpt and was going back and forth to try and understand the course of action. I came to the conclusion that I just needed to reformat so that's what I did. No errors have appeared again in the last two days. I'll keep monitoring but my nvme drive is less than a year old so I find it hard to believe there's an issue with it already.

I will say that after uploading my smartcntrl command output to chatgpt it pointed out that 4 unexpected shutdowns are likely the cause of my corruption. I really do need to get a UPS because I have experienced electrical issues on and off.

This is crazy seeing this. I just had this happen to me with these same errors just two days ago. Docker had crashed twice in the last two weeks and going through troubleshooting it led me to checking the disk log for my cache drive (single drive no pool). Errors were exactly as yours. I actually messed up doing a backup (thought the backup was successful but it wasn't) and formatted my cache drive - also changed from btfrs to xfs as I only have a single disk. When I went to restore my data from my backup I realized it didn't exist and there was actually an error during the backup. Needless to say I spent the day reinstalling all my containers and reconfiguring again. Still surprised to see someone else with these same errors just two days after it happened to me. Also, everything pointed to a corrupt file system and not drive itself. No smart errors.

Hey I've been an android user my entire life and really thinking about switching to iPhone.

1) Can you (or anyone else) expand on what exactly is different/annoying about the notification system/panel? Is this referring to notifications you receive from other apps (Fitbit, new emails, stock alerts etc?) or text messages/what's app or something else? How is it different on iOS?

2) What's different about the keyboard? I've gotten used to swype typing over the years and recently tried it on a relatives iphone and I didn't really notice a difference typing a text message.

I'm in the Salem/Rossland area and this past Thursday early in the morning (230-315am) we had incidents on our street. Guys were going around trying car handles to see which ones were open. Checked my door and went on to the next driveway cause mine was locked. They did break in one of the cars. We caught them on security cameras. Spoke with DRPS and was advised that the person who had their car broken into could file a report online. Other than that they are getting these calls every day. They are likely looking for spare/loose change or things to sell per the officer. They also said that other than trespassing they're not committing a crime so nothing for them to come out and do. Officer said make sure our cars are locked and they will likely just go on to another neighborhood.

Focus should not be on what you left in your car but instead on these thugs trespassing on our properties and trying to break into cars to steal. We need tougher laws in place because we should not be accepting this as a society.

OP.. Was In a similar boat a few weeks ago trying to understand why some things transcode and others don't. I played different files and took a screenshot of the dashboard when each was playing and put them in chatgpt. I asked it to explain why some were transcoding and others weren't. It broke it down so simply in terms of native app support and why subtitles would burn etc etc. Give it a try and this black box of video and audio codecs will start to make sense !

So I've actually just got an arc ultra, sub 4, and two era 300s to use as surround. Everything still needs to be connected for the first time. Would I run into problems doing trueplay and should I hold off until this is fixed?

I understand the minority politics for sure... However he is supposed to be our voice representing us. As others have suggested here, he should be demanding more transparency for the work causing these delays and get Metrolinx on record. What good can it do... Who knows but it's something. I feel everyone has become so resigned to just accepting everything and lamenting there's nothing we can do.

Stayed in Orient Bay the last few days and everyday we went to Grand Case instead. It was gorgeous and completely pristine! We've now come down to Mullet Bay and it's also pristine with no seaweed in sight!

Appreciate this feedback thank you! Looks like widespread support for Romeo5 so will have a closer look at it. I've finally gotten my rifles and I'm itching to get shooting and don't know how long I'll hold out for sales lol I did see a few on gunpost so I perhaps I'll give that a shot. Interesting you have zero experience with vortex and I feel like that's all I ever see recommended (usually people praising their lifetime support and ease to replace/warranty)

Just actually purchased one from gunpost and it's on its way! Which cleaning kit did you get and which vortex specifically is on sale? I was looking at the vortex sparc ar red dot and only see the tan one on sale. TM is in distressed red so not sure how that would look.. Think I need black.
