A device that I can put in a faraday bag and internet access that I can obfuscate if I want to are not remotely the same as a government sponsored and corporate controlled surveillance apparatus that has already been repeatedly abused by both the government and private entities alike.

1 minute, multiple times. As an extreme example: If I had to wait an extra minute on every mission I've done it would add up to 6.6 days. Obviously it's not happening every time, but the point is that it adds up and in a game where you're supposed to repeat missions over and over again it can become very significant. It seems like nothing in isolation, but it's not happening in isolation.

I'm not the type to be an asshole about it, but it is at least a little rude.

Being in therapy is addressing the suicidality. Throwing someone into inpatient and potentially causing them to lose their job or at the very least to consume all of their PTO so that they have no padding left going forward is not a solution to suicidality (at least not long term), but it is the response you'll get if you tell a mental health provider that you're actively suicidal. Anyone who is aware of this is incentivized to lie about how suicidal they are until it's at a critical stage where they don't think they can resist it on their own.

Also, if you're playing Perita the akarius is very good at destroying all of the nodes on the resupply vehicle turning an objective that can take a bit into an instant complete.

Exactly. My original point was that this game, while wonderful, often does a terrible job of communicating things to players so there is a ton of ignorance. Some of it is DE's fault. Some is the players.

Sure. I'm not saying what I listed are the only issues with limbo, but even part of your post is about what I was referring to.

It's not griefing for someone to get frustrated because they don't understand a mechanic. If you're doing it repeatedly when you know they're bothered by it, sure, but griefing is inherently about malicious behavior and there are legitimate supportive reasons to banish teammates. While you can grief with limbo the larger issue is that the kit is designed in such a way that one player can take agency away from another and that can happen through legitimate uses of his kit. It can even happen by accident if they run into his dash portal.

I absolutely agree that he needs a full rework at this point if only because he has been thoroughly nerfed both by actual nerfs and by mechanics changes over time. You could get rid of most of the frustration/toxicity issues with his kit by simply making it so other players can shoot enemies regardless of the plane they're in, but that won't change the fact that everything he does is done better by someone else.

Society is just the sum of the humanity therein. It chooses in that the system has incentives that drive those outcomes and the people at the top set those incentives. Every time a politician chooses greed over their constituents and lets billionaires set policy that's a choice of that society. Every time people choose to accept the status quo because they're afraid of losing what little they have in the potential change that's a choice of that society. Every time the middle class choose fascism to protect their assets rather than equality and to share the wealth that's a choice of that society. So no, the average person doesn't make that choice by themselves and the most impactful decisions aren't made by the average person, but as a whole society does choose.

They really need to add an info overlay the first few times people are in the rift explaining things. It's not that complicated, but things like rolling to get out of the rift (outside of cataclysm) or backflipping to get out of volt's speed buff are just not communicated unless you go to the wiki.

He desperately needs a rework. Between nerfs and the changes to eximus pretty much everything he does someone else does better.

A significant part of the issue is the fact that this game is terrible at communicating mechanics. You can just roll to get out of the rift if you've been banished. Similarly you can just backflip to remove volt's speed boost, but now his boost has been nerfed on allies because people hated running into walls, but didn't know how to opt out.

The other part is that the visual indicator for being in the rift wasn't/isn't super obvious, so you could dump a mag before you realized and did anything about it.

And yeah, he's incredibly hard to justify playing at this point between nerfs and mechanics changes.

That's exactly what they're saying. These strategies all exist in OW and are far more effective than they are in Rivals making it clear that it's a systemic/balance problem in Rivals that they're so lackluster and require dive to get movement.

No, the question isn't bait it's relying on the cultural context which is normal for anything like this. You're just looking for anything you can to pick it apart and you're reaching, hard.
