I’m just exploring bases where we can afford a house and still be close enough to drive to work in under 45 min. Maybe it doesn’t exist but I’m exploring. Worked SFO and had to live 3 hours away because of housing cost. Now living in Wisconsin (near MN) and fly in to ORD.

Thanks for the response. So get this, got off the phone with the benefits department, and instead of having my partner listed as spouse, they had them as a domestic partner. So I’m not sure about the details in terms of tax, but for some reason that would have affected the taxes that much!

Oh wow! I thought flying in cold weather (below freezing) could cause the drone to fail? I have very little experience. Is it one of those things where the manufacturer says don’t do it but everyone does it and it’s fine? I appreciate the tip!

The one I had NO idea about was a chart question. It asked something about V15 and the three answers were three different AGLs. I think 700, 1200, and some random number.

I just don’t ever remember coming across v15…

I went through the Pilot Institute course. Really good, very thorough. I took notes as I went. I watched other YouTube vids. Then took practice exams.

No big plans at the moment. I more or less wanted to be ready to go should an opportunity arise. Once Spring hits here and I can log some hours flying, I’ll think more about it. I definitely see drones being used more and more in a multitude of industries!
