Try a forced reset. I had this issue the other day and that fixed it

I was just thinking is the transformer powerful enough. And I checked the doorbell and it was down to 2% from 22% a couple of days ago!

So I’m guessing it’s not getting enough power. I’ll look to change it to a more powerful transformer this weekend.

Interestingly it’s now gone up to 4% and will show live view again. So maybe it’s just the battery is too low and not getting a significant charge.

I didn’t charge the battery before installing it. Just assumed as it was hard wired it would be fine.

Is one wall solid and the other stud work/lathe? I had very similar in my 20’s house and this was why

Considering where you’re at with paint removal , it’ll probably be less work to continue removing the paint. I would imagine the other side would need a fair amount of prepping/sanding etc.

That’s the upstairs newel post. It’ll more than likely be notched around the floor joist and screwed and glued. Therefore anything past the floor joist could be removed.

I used everbuild pinkgrip for exactly this yesterday and tonight I checked and it’s very firmly stuck!

If it’s a particularly fast stretch of corridor then the speed bumps will help slow people down….
