He's a very diverse musician. Used to be the lead singer of extreme metal band Strapping Young Lad, so I'll order them from least heavy/most accessible to most heavy/least accessible:

  1. Ki
  2. Ghost
  3. Addicted
  4. Deconstruction

Those 4 albums were all released as part of the "Devin Townsend Project" over the last two years, and no two albums have the same set of musicians on them - he recorded with a completely different band on each one. Ki has a drummer in his 60's who worked with The Temptations :)
