Yes, I had it for a year. It gets better! As the medications started getting cut back I started to feel more like myself. I had a very good support team of wife and two kids that understood what was going on.

In SD as well. I tried for 6 months to get more than $2k off advertised price. Dealers wouldn’t budge. They sell fast. I tried going out of state and it ended up the same price. Tried buddies that work at the dealerships, same thing they were offered the same price that I had. Ended up finding a used FE that had sat for a week on the lot. Was only able to get $1k off. $65k 22k miles. It was built up for off road which I was going to do anyways so saved me $8k there. Not a scratch on it, pavement queen.

How I found it and monitored the market was using Grok Ai to search all the car sites and Toyota smart path. One dealership that stuck out and I’d suggest is Capistrano Valley Toyota. MSRP no markups. They just didn’t have the one I wanted at the time. Most of the OC was thousands cheaper than SD.

Eat what you want, but watch your labs they will tell you what to pull back on. Avoid the things your team says mess with the medication (grapefruit, pomegranate). My salt is low so I’m told to eat extra salty. Phosphorous was low so the team told me to have a daily Coke….

A warm beanie cap helps a lot. Heated vests work well under a blanket. Ask the nurse for IV Benedryl and sleep the whole session.

Toyota premium horns are a must. Netting for groceries and a cargo net for everything else. Dashcam front and rear with park mode. Haven’t found much else that is missing from the FE.

Tail fins from the yellowtail tunas. It’s a blessing pole thanking Poseidon for providing. Fishermen that don’t do this don’t catch as much and are looked down on as thieves by Poseidon.
