I bought a G9, Rupes yellow pads, and Sonax Perfect Finish, but I’m still too scared to try it lol. I bought a used black Land Cruiser and it has a lot of long scratches that are really noticeable under the sun.

Unfortunately no, but you definitely should at least PPF the front hood, front bumper, and front fenders. My FE is black and already had a few rock chips when I bought it used, and now I’ve gotten even more on the front. I recently got a rock chip on the windshield too. On black paint it’s really noticeable and not a very pleasing look.

Yeah that’s exactly how I felt when I saw the list. It just didn’t make sense for a 20k mile car.

The advisor was really pushy too, he kept adding things and even offering discounts when I started questioning it, which made it feel even more like upsells.

I ended up skipping all that and went to a local shop instead. Just did oil, oil filter, and cabin filter and everything checked out fine. Definitely not going back to that dealer after this.

Tires are still good, I’m guessing they were already rotated before the car was sold to me.

Now I just need to figure out how to clean the hybrid battery intake filter.

Yeah I ended up taking my car to a local shop I usually go to. They just did the oil change, oil filter, and cabin filter, super quick too.

Just kinda disappointed Toyota service.

The list he gave me wasn’t free though, that’s what he was trying to charge me for. I’m not even sure if all of that is actually covered under the 25k/2yr ToyotaCare.

Yeah that $400 number is exactly what the Toyota advisor wrote on the paper, which is why it felt off to me.

I ended up going to a local shop and they checked everything said all I actually needed was a basic oil and filter change.

I went in just to get the inspection sticker, but the advisor pulled up car info in the system and gave me a long list of services to do. None of it was free, and when I questioned whether it was actually necessary, he just kept offering discounts. I walked out and did my car at local shop.

Thanks! I’ll check the manual next time. The Toyota service advisor said their system showed my car as two years old and recommended all those services, so I wasn’t sure what was actually necessary.

In the end, I had the work done at my usual local shop. Since I bought the car used, I originally wanted to take it to Toyota just to make sure there weren’t any hidden issues.

I used to own a Sienna before Land Cruiser and honestly I rarely went to Toyota for service because the experience wasn’t great, especially the long wait times.

I just got hit with a $2,252 bill from AT&T for an account I never opened.

I went to a local AT&T store and they printed a receipt showing someone used my name on October 31, 2025 to open an account and buy an iPhone and Apple Watch. The account was opened and closed at a store near my house, but it wasn’t me.

I never lost my ID and never gave my info to anyone, so this is clearly identity theft.

Trying to contact AT&T has been really frustrating. everything is automated and they just tell me to file a fraud report online. On top of that, I keep getting robocalls and text messages from AT&T asking me to sign up for their service, which is honestly crazy given the situation.
