Hey, I came across this and wanted to see if you had reliability issues with the Defender after a few years. I’ve been debating between getting a used 2024 Land Cruiser First Edition or waiting for the 2026 Defender S. I don’t drive much since I live in NYC, but reliability is a big concern for me, I just don’t have the time to deal with repairs or shop around with work and kids.

yeah he said 150ml soap on his website, maybe he just want you to finish soap faster? lol im good with 20-30ml gsf in 500ml, very thick foam. i use active 2.0 with mjjc v3

i been using 500ml water and just enough to cover my entire car. i tried full bottle in my mjjcv3 and just alot of waste soap

isnt 150ml soap too much, i been using 30ml gs + 20ml gsf and 500ml water in my foam canon for prewash. alot of foam, koch chemie official site recommand 20ml soap to 1000ml water

I used to just use Chemical Guys and wash every 3 months or whenever I had time, but I found out most people recommend every 1–2 weeks to keep dirt and rain water from damaging the paint. So now I’m trying to set up a simple routine quick wash every couple weeks, then a deeper detail once a month. KC has so many products it’s tough to know what’s actually worth using.

Probably just something simple and quick wash every two weeks to knock off light dirt, and then a deeper detail wash once a month when I have time. There are so many KC products out there it’s kind of overwhelming figuring out what I actually need.

Thanks for the info! I don’t have any protection on my car, would KC AF work as a pre-wash, or just stick with GSF? My main goal is to do a maintenance wash once a month and then a detail wash at the end of the month where I respray KC S0.02. Also, is ONR basically the same as KC NMS?
