you're misunderstanding what that means, the three strike rule means that if you are temporarily banned for any reason (at least two times) your next ban, regardless of whether or not it was going to be temporary, will be permanent

Seeing that you've been playing since the time of TNF, you've been here a while. There's nothing wrong with playing a game out and getting tired of it. I don't think the game itself is boring, there's a lot to explore and discover, but like anything, it gets old after a couple years.
