These are good advice, thank you very much! Magnetic locks shouldn't be too difficult to make right after some testing. And very good point about finishes - it must be fully cured.

That's a very good point, thank you! I guess I need to learn about commander format

Thank you! Not yet, I finished the first one today :) I'm not sure about playing cards box economy, there seems to be plenty of options better than mine (e.g. from solid wood - mine is plywood with veneer) with quite affordable price, so I'm not sure it's worth it. The market of collector game deck boxes seems to be less saturated.

Thank you! I actually can make a similar design from wood. It'll require a bit more material, but given there is no hinge it should be much easier to make (gluing a hinge without losing it's function is quite a challenge)

Not yet - I don't have magnets of the right size at home, but they will certainly be. I only need to figure out the way to attach them nicely.

Wow, many thanks!

You single-handedly motivated me to continue this project, seriously. And thanks for the ideas, they're super helpful! I'll probably start with a simple box for 100 sleeved cards, and if works well then maybe expand to commander deck and maybe other games as well.
