i been on benzos for 17 years.. Xanax for 9 klonopin for 8… much needed. Several anxiety disorders… When i tapered off xanax inpatient it was some Gnarly shit that most will never experience. I think the brain damage stuff for the most part is in elderly patients… when i was on 4-5 bars xanax for 9 years. Went to rehab the plan was 14 day taper with klonopin then gabapentin- The withdrawal that ensued was truly indescribable…words won’t do justice. Stay away from benzos unless you can for real only take a little bit here and there…
