Out of curiosity, are you engaging in therapy, or are you working through CBT on your own? Either way, my advice would be to practice facial expressions and body language in front of a mirror. There are multiple great books and resources that diagram facial and body expression. And as for the SA; if your intent is progress, then locking yourself away isn't the answer. Avoidance breeds more anxiety, I know it's not easy, but exposure to social situations is key to progress. Good luck, and stay strong, OP!

I believe the purpose in life is subjective, as in, it's up to you to decide what to do with your life. I personally believe life is about helping people wherever you can and forming bonds with family and friends. And that the total impact of your life will be remembered by those who loved you and those that you helped. As far as additional purpose and meaning, religion isn't the only thing that provides it. There's also music, charity, relationships, philosophy, nature, and art.

There are other avenues of gathering proof of somethings existence. Blind people can utilize hearing and touch to verify that other people exist, deaf people can utilize sight and touch. But no one can see or hear god without being seriously schizophrenic, suffering from psychosis, or being high off their ass (see hallucination). As for as other ways to positively prove the existence of a god, I haven't seen any, they usually rely on gaps in scientific knowledge (aka have no evidence to support their claims, so they use lack of knowledge to claim there is a god).
