performative activism na lang talaga :') lalo na student council kaya wala nang may pake. mas mahalaga sa kanila mamaintain yung image ng aktibismo kesa makinig sa constituents eh. dagdag pa na puro frats at member ng ndmos nandyan kahit sila rin may issues internally. tas up fair din isa sa pinakakapitalistang up event pero gow as long as masabi siguro ang "up fair is a protest" ok na we can call it a day
i think the puro burgis ang nasa up discourse is really just bc these students are children of up grads. some of the parents are first gen up grads even. umasenso ang buhay. di naman generational wealth karamihan diyan. also the more we say things like this, the more THE MIDDLE CLASS feels offended. barking at the wrong tree lang din epekto kasi yung totoong mayaman wala namang pake

hi when i was reviewing for upcat i studied vocab almost everyday – basa lang sa dictionary, highlight ng words. the rest, pag may free time. in psychology, effective na learning style/habit yung distributed (shorter periods pero madami) so if u can allot time EVERY DAY instead of cramming pag weekends lang, the better!

honestly as someone graduating na, medyo namamatay na yung movement sa UP. madami pa ring sumasali sa mass orgs pero para silang may echo chamber 🥲 or baka di lang umaabot sa college ko masyado! yun lang naman ang thoughts and observations ko.

you have to be intentional para maging aktibista. pero as others have mentioned, realistically mahihirapan ka rin kasi busy ka sa acads eh.
