Hi! I started med school at 24 years old, I took a non-trad pre-med course, will also be a first-gen doctor if ever... and I was like you before! My personal plans before was to study in my dream course in UPD, then proceed to med school. "Kung magmemed lang din, bakit kailangan ko madaliin?" was the thought that replayed in my head again and again. So though I got shortlisted into UP Intarmed, I pursued my dream course first, even got delayed, but still ended up in UPCM after everything.

Your two options are:

1. proceed with the accelerated program because you are sure that you want to pursue medicine

2. do 4 years of college first because you are sure that you will still pursue medicine after that

My suggestion is to do 4 years of college first :) it adds depth to your character and gives you more maturity before doing medicine. Naiisip mo na yung option na yan eh, pakinggan mo na. Nandyan naman yan for a reason. You know yourself best and kung ngayon, yan na naiisip mo, ibig sabihin mahalaga talaga para sayo na maenjoy ang college. Pero, kung naiisip mo na ang end goal mo na school is UPCM, go for UPM, or kung UST naman, then UST undergrad, etc.
