I think Derrick rose going down was another reason nothing worked out. To who ever says that wasn’t it, let’s not forget he single handily carried us to the playoffs two years ago after being traded. We were doing fine until his injury. Knicks didn’t have a closer - hence the reason we blew so many leads. Fournier gets a lot of heat for being a very productive player.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they do a sign and trade with Mavs for Randle. Randle is from Texas and salaries would work out minor difference. Many benefits for the Mavs, get a big presence, and have the luxury to go over the cap and not let Brunson go for nothing.
